VOLUNTEERS

CCJ is most appreciative for the help of our volunteers. We're currently looking for people who can either commit to a regular schedule or focus on a specific project. All volunteers should have good communication and computer skills.

FELLOWSHIPS

We are willing to work with law and public policy students to craft fellowship proposals that could be based at our Flint office. Students who would like to discuss their ideas should send inquiries to info@ccj-mi.org.

EMPLOYMENT

We have no open positions at this time. Please keep in touch with us.

STUDENTS:

CCJ will also work with students and their schools to create approved work-study projects or co-op programs. Students often find descriptions of internship opportunities with us at http://www.interninmichigan.com/.

CURRENT NEEDS:

As of the spring of 2016, CCJ is accepting applications on a rolling basis to fill volunteer positions and internships. At this time, CCJ is looking for people with skill in the areas of:

  • social media,
  • archiving,
  • data assessment,
  • case evaluation,
  • research,
  • writing, and
  • executive organization.

If you have another skill to offer, let us know!

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

We are always keeping our eyes open for qualified individuals to serve on a board committee or the board itself.  We seek individuals who are passionate about our mission and who want to support what we do with their talents and skills, community connections, and resources. Those interested should send an inquiry to info@ccj-mi.org. We'll give you an opportunity to meet with staff and one or more members of the board. Our board committees include finance, personnel, development, and communications.

Thank you for helping to provide the legal and advocacy services that would otherwise be inaccessible to our most vulnerable neighbors.
