The Center for Civil Justice advocates for access to medically necessary health care, services, and treatment for all low-income persons. We closely monitor policies and practices in Michigan's governmental healthcare programs to ensure that they comply with state and federal laws. CCJ has enforced federal and state laws to maintain or expand access to health care for low income persons through administrative advocacy and litigation. CCJ engages in legislative and administrative advocacy to educate policy makers about the hardships faced by low income persons who are uninsured or who rely on governmental programs for access to health care.
